Project Overview
Geneva Global, a philanthropic matchmaking incubator, specializes in “performance philanthropy,” or generating impressive, quantifiable results through investments from individuals and companies to assist with dire problems in third world countries. With the resurfacing of Ebola in late 2013, Geneva Global began implementing a multi-faceted approach named the “Ebola Crisis Fund.” This fund mobilized teams to respond, begin recovery, and establish longer-term development to move toward future elimination of the disease. The fund successfully implemented 34 projects across three countries, and the initiative has helped in the worldwide control over the spread of Ebola.
