Where you live and work is unlike any other. Your storytelling should be, too.
Draw attention to local culture and assets to celebrate neighbors past and present and build active, connected, and thriving communities.
Well-articulated community-building and neighborhood branding campaigns harness the power of place to align vision and message.
We work with CDCs, neighborhood groups, business parks, community groups, and campuses to draw out a place’s distinctive identity. We empower mission-focused placemakers with visual and verbal communication toolkits and educational resources that invite your community to build a shared future.

Your neighborhood isn’t another dot on the map—it’s a vibrant and dynamic world in itself.
We’re all in on stakeholder buy-in. By listening to you and your stakeholders, and leaning into your lived experience of your neighborhood, we aim to ensure that the end product is something that reflects human and community values.
Sustainability
We take time to select the best materials, vendors, and methods to assure that the final design solution is sustainable, elegant, efficient, and affordable.
Impact
We work with organizations that measure success beyond the conventional bottom line. We aren’t interested in building a community narrative that results in the displacement of residents. We want to work with people who draw from a community’s lived experience to accent a story of resilience and celebration that leads to more equitable communities.
Recent Work
Mt.Airy CDC
Mt. Airy CDC (formerly known as Mt. Airy USA) needed a strong brand system that unified their initiatives, communicated their mission, and connected neighbors in meaningful ways to promote and strengthen neighborly bonds within the community..
NKCDC
NKCDC came to us to help transform their website from a burden of inefficiency into a powerful sales tool that is a driving force for everything they do in their community. Aside from a visual facelift to appear more modern, welcoming, and approachable, we worked with NKCDC to help maximize their services efficiently.
Kensington Corridor Trust
We worked hand in hand with this community organization to develop a strong visual identity, brand voice, and messaging that highlights their unwavering commitment to shift power back to the Kensington neighborhood.
Manayunk Development Corporation
The Manayunk Development Corporation (MDC) was in search of a brand refresh that would display the charm and deep history of the Manayunk neighborhood while showcasing the thriving business corridor along Main Street.
Chattahoochee Riverlands
To increase stakeholder engagement for Chattahoochee Riverlands, a vast public outdoor space in Metro Atlanta, we designed an interactive, easy-to-use map for landscape architects SCAPE that incorporated proposed plans and storytelling to elicit community support.
Trauma Informed Community
Created as a collaboration between Impact Services and New Kensington Community Development Corporation, this “train the trainer” toolkit provided a comprehensive and accessible guide for those teaching others about trauma in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.
